The team at WFYC is continually inspired by the ingenuity, dedication, and perseverance of our Affiliate Members around the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has made for a difficult couple of years. Yet the staff, volunteers, and board members of the youth development organizations we serve seem more committed to their missions than ever before.
As I look back at 2021 and the obstacles our Affiliate Members have faced, I feel a strong sense of gratitude. The entire WFYC network of Affiliate Members, Collaborators for Good, Sister Clubs, donors and friends continue to come together and support each other no matter the circumstances. On behalf of our

WFYC is excited about the opportunities 2022 will bring. In addition to the consultative and technical expertise we provide to our Affiliate Members, we will continue to provide monthly Webcasts on a variety of key topics, the opportunity for global recognition through the WFYC Promise Awards, and a strategic learning and networking opportunity through our international conference. We’ve just announced that the

Club leadership from Botswana recently visited the Club team in South Africa to learn about their operations and programs. As the Botswana team is working to build and grow their offerings they were able to learn first-hand how the clubs in South Africa are serving their youth. |

GivingTuesday was a big success for Affilaite Members around the world! Here are just a few highlights:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Ghana donated textbooks and installed marker boards on the walls of local schools. Youth members even molded bricks for the construction of new school buildings! |

WFYC is pleased to announce that Simon Hemus has joined our Board of Directors. Simon has lived and worked in London, Tokyo, New York, Amsterdam, Switzerland, and Orlando. His international career includes executive roles at Avon Products, Sara Lee Corporation, and Tupperware Brands Corporation. Throughout his career, Hemus has focused on advancing the standard of living of women, especially those from developing countries. Click here to learn more about Simon.
